I am a former corporate finance and securities lawyer-turned writer and editor. I’ve had such varied titles as Managing Editor of an alternative news weekly and Associate General Counsel/Corporate Secretary of a public technology company. As a freelance writer, I’ve covered a variety of topics for local and regional publications in central Virginia, including food, design, and parenting.
Currently I am working as a Research, Editing, and Publishing Associate for the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business and have authored two Darden Business Cases.
My first book, Humility is the New Smart: Rethinking Human Excellence in the Smart Machine Age, co-written with Professor Edward D. Hess of the Darden School of Business, will be released January 2017.
I live in Charlottesville, VA with my husband and two daughters.
